Fair winds and good fortune, Skyward Adventurers! Can you believe we’re already halfway through 2024? We’ve spent most of the year so far reorganizing and refocusing our team to elevate the quality and scale of the world we can’t wait for you to explore. We’ve made some new friends along the way and are dialed in on developing a dynamic universe you will never forget!
Before we get into what you should expect next, we’d like to take a moment to celebrate our livestream…
📖 The First Starfall Campaign has Concluded!
The first of many adventures in the Skylands of Starfall has already come to an end! Captain Nyxara and her crew finally faced off against Lady Blackhart during the epic conclusion, revealing some of the secretive history between the two captains. The crew had several thrilling encounters requiring some clutch rolls to get by, narrowly surviving a sky kraken and facing off against pirate captains of the infamous 21. There was no shortage of drama–an attempt at robbing a Peacekeeper armory to Chip’s heart-wrenching eulogy for a cherished life. Don’t worry if you missed out! We have been editing recap videos that will be available with the launch of our YouTube channel.
It’s incredible to see how quickly our inaugural campaign has developed from a production and capability standpoint. You’ve been with us from our humble beginnings—from designing the game room and costumes, to working through live stream technical issues and camera work, the campaign looks completely different from the very first episode to the final episode… And this is just the beginning! You can expect even more growth and new adventurers to join the fray in our second campaign.
⏳A momentary break
We have spent countless hours in massive workspaces redefining how we can prepare our fans to be able immerse themselves in the expansive world of Starfall. We have brought in veteran game designers, incredible artists, industry experts, and graphic specialists to give our fans the captivating adventure they deserve. However, with so much development, we’ve made the careful decision not to leak what’s on the near horizon as we diligently work on redefining the entire Starfall experience with an all-new website, content plan, and community activities.
What does this mean? We’ll be taking a few months off from weekly social posts as we prepare to shift things into full gear. We are brimming with excitement and the only pain is that our captains will have us keep our lips sealed until we are ready for a sensational return. This is the best news we can give you as in a couple of months there will be so many wonderful things to interact with!
We’re putting in triple time and we can guarantee you’ll reap what we sow.
